Thunderstorm at sunset - North of Edmond, OK

Using a 50mm lens, I took this picture through the front windshield of my truck.  I won't confess whether the vehicle was moving or not at the time.  Often the UV coating on a windshield will cast a greenish tint on the color of the image but this one turned out okay.  It's also an odd crop.  Normally I suppose you'd fill the frame with more of the storm but I think the extra size at the top and definitely the trees at the bottom provide a better sense of scale.

The setting sun cast a great bit of yellow on the base of this massive storm.  I edited it to look about halfway between a photo and a painting.
