Taken 0630hrs looking east on a Sunday morning. I was standing at the Ft. Smith interchange.  Fortunately, traffic was light at that time of morning!

The dark line going left to right through the middle of the Devon Tower is a remnant of civil twilight that sometimes shows up on the horizon opposite the sunrise.  It really stands out in high contrast images.  I could have taken it out but I kind of like the abstract representation of the scene.

Chesapeake Boathouse in B&W

I'm a huge fan of the architecture of Chesapeake's boathouse and finish line tower as well as Devon's boathouse.  These pics were all taken at sunrise and the color versions were fun but I didn't think they were as interesting as the B&W versions.  I've not done a lot of B&W photography or conversions but it's growing on me and I'm trying to get the hang of it.

All the images below are single exposure (not HDR!). They have more halo'ing than I'd like but they're so dynamic they seem to keep your eye moving around the image figuring out where to land.  The natural curve in the darker clouds in the upper left of images 3 & 4 add a unique and complimentary twist to all the other curves found in the image.

Railroad bridge across the Oklahoma River - A little gust of wind came along and 'erased' part of the bridge's reflection on the left side of the image.

I couldn't have asked for a better end to the evening for our business guests who had traveled from both Ohio and Hong Kong for a joint meeting here in Oklahoma City.  However, I probably could have made that sentence shorter.
